Sound in Motion
COMPANY
Competitive-level training with professional dance theatre experience
A performance program unique to Sound in Motion Studio. Our COMPANY theatre dance program combines competitive-level training with dance theatre experience. Dancers work towards feature length dance productions, community events and shows. COMPANY provides more frequent opportunities for dancers to perform and be seen by family, friends, and the community.
COMPANY dancers gain advanced skills by training more often and showing dedication to rehearsals and engagements. This audition-based program has a minimum requirement for skill and weekly training hours.

COMPANY means...
Audition Based Program
Dancers will take part in an in-studio audition process similar to what they will experience at professional dance and theatre companies.
Whether it is their first time, or they have auditioned before, this is a great opportunity for students to experience the audition process in a supportive and learning environment.

Weekly Training Hours
COMPANY Theatre Dance program is a specialty program that requires additional training hours every week, on top of a student’s existing schedule.
This program requires a higher level of commitment from students and families, including time outside of the studio, usually on weekends for performances.
Performance Opportunities
COMPANY dancers work towards a feature length dance production every term! This exposes dancers to the ‘show run’ experience – they are able to perform multiple times in multiple shows in a run, unlike the competitive atmosphere of giving a single performance without the big picture.
On top of this production, COMPANY dancers are the go to team for community events and shows.
